Quality Construction Now offering Crooked Play Houses!
These cartoon inspired play houses are as soundly built as they are adorable.
With a cedar roof and brown treated lumber, the play house is rusticly appealing and offers years of maintenance-free enjoyment .

The inspiration to build a crooked play house came from our 2 year old daughter, Charlie. Charlie loves storybooks filled with imaginative houses. This past spring, I decided to surprise Charlie with a cartoon play house of her own.
Charlie's play house attracted a lot of attention from neighbors and loved ones. After researching the price of similar playhouses, I learned companies were charging in the $7,000-$20,000 price range (some as high as $200,000) for president built playhouse kits.
I figured I could offer a structurally sound, low maintenance, creative design for a more affordable price.
Two models available:
***Standard Crooked Play House***

-can be moved by hand with 4 strong people
-6ft x 8ft deck with railing built out of brown treated lumber and covered in 5/4" decking
-deck is built on leveled pads at ground height (1 step aprox 5")
-dimensions are approx. 4ft wide, 5ft long and 5 1/2ft tall at the peak
-gable to gable roof, 2x2 framing, sheeted with plywood and covered with cedar shakes
-2x2 framed walls, sheeted with plywood and covered with 1x6 brown treated lumber
-1 door and 3 windows (2 of the windows open and have planters underneath)
***Large Crooked Play House***

-dimensions are approx 5ft wide, 6ft long and 6ft tall at the peak
-7ft x 8ft" deck with reinforced 2x6 frame, built with brown treated lumber and covered in 5/4" rounded edge decking
-hand railing built around the deck
-gable to gable roof, 2x2 framing, sheeted with plywood and covered with cedar shakes
-2x2 framed walls, sheeted with plywood and completely covered with horizontal 1x6 brown treated lumber
-1 door and 3 windows (2 of the windows open and have planters underneath)
All models are partially built at the Quality Construction site, then completed in a day in your own yard.
