💥 OPENING UPDATE 💥

We were hoping to open on Saturday, November 2nd & after heroic snowmaking efforts over the last few days (there were 13 snow guns running this morning), we've decided that we need more time and better snowmaking temperatures. We want to make sure that we provide the best possible experience for you, and to do that, we'll be pushing hard to make snow over the next week to open both Cascade & Sundance.

Our new anticipated opening day is Saturday, November 9th at 9am. We hope to see you there! ⛷️🏂

🚧 Upcoming Rundle Bridge Closure 🚧

Please be aware that the Bow River loop pathway may be closed at the Rundle Power Plant for several days over the next two weeks. This closure allows TransAlta to complete preliminary work in preparation for bridge refurbishment scheduled for 2025.

Please use alternate routes during the following times:

⚠️ July 18 from 8:00 a.m. to July 19 at 6 p.m.
⚠️ July 22 from 8:00 a.m. to July 23. at 6 p.m.
⚠️ July 29 from 8:00 a.m. to 6 p.m.

We understand how important this pathway is to our community and apologize for any inconvenience this causes to your daily commute. You will still be able to access the Legacy Trail to the Nordic Centre and the Engine Bridge on either end of the closed trail section.

Ring in the New Year with us at Millennium Park! Join the countdown to midnight and welcome 2024 with an unforgettable fireworks display.

Before the fireworks display, join us at the Canmore Recreation Centre from 5 – 8pm for a free all-ages evening of fun featuring fireside musical performances with local musicians, a DJ dance party, ice skating, crafts, photo booths, and food vendors. The evening will conclude with a pyrotechnics show at 8pm with viewing from the field outside of the Canmore Recreation Centre.
