Happy day after Thanksgiving! We are settled back after our trip and still have a couple of weekend spaces available for fall family photo shoots. Come join us, inside the studio and out.

It was an honour to photograph Parvin Kolahdooz's author photo for her book "The Big, Brown Suitcase". What a courageous, inspiring woman! The book tells the story of her escape from Iran as a young woman. Only received it yesterday but can not wait to read it!

We are huge fans of the Tea and Toast Inc. team and always love photographing their new team members. One of the fun traditions is to always photograph them with a teapot (or toast) to reflect their personalities. Hazel and Rosemary were a joy!

At a Carleton Place & District Chamber of Commerce event in Almonte last week, there was a lot of discussion about the calendar we had so much fun doing years ago and perhaps it was time to do it again this summer??? What do you think? :)

One of the many things I love about what I do is the chance to photograph people who really inspire me. I was so honoured to photograph the cover of Danny Covey ‘s recent book "Scar Tissue". The book is amazing - inspiring, captivating, well written and humorous. Danny, thank you for the reminder that we can find our way through life's hardships. You are amazing.

We had so much fun photographing Dr Nick and his team at Ottawa Orthodontist in Manotick yesterday that I almost want to go and get braces just to see them all again! In between the headshots we had a chance for some creative shots to showcase their wonderful hobbies, interests and personalities.

One of our favourite local businesses, Rental Village is celebrating 40 years and we couldn't have been prouder to have had a chance to capture their celebratory party last night. We have rented so many items from them over the years from leaf blowers to the tent, tables and dishes for our wedding. They always gone above and beyond.
