Hiking El Camino Trail: Islander writes new guidebook

It's been almost a year since the CBC wrote this story about my NEW Camino guidebook. Since then I've had to have it reprinted three times. 'Coming out with my fourth edition very soon. :-). Thanks for your continued support.

Avid hiker Bryson Guptill embarked on his 34-day hike of El Camino trail with a guidebook in hand, but quickly found himself in need of a better one — so he wrote it himself.

More friends reminiscing about starting the Camino one year ago today...

A year ago today I set out to walk the Camino de Santiago. Getting on that plane was the easy part of the journey, walking was rough but the hardest part so far has been missing the Camino every single day. It changes you, makes you grow in ways you never thought possible and it show you just how small we really are in the large scheme of this world 🌎

Buen Camino to those starting their journey today & safe travels💃🏻

More pilgrims walking the Meseta on the Camino today...

Day 19. Another day on the Meseta from Terradillos de los Templarios to Bercianos de Real Camino. Downside is that the unvarying heel strike seems to promote blisters - unexpected at this stage of the walk.
Lovely walk with lots of shade today on the Way today.
Carsten's toenail is hanging in there literally by a piece of skin but it's not hampering his walking at all which is great.

We stayed at this lovely little Albergue on day 3 of our Camino - the red machine on the right is a beer dispenser - £1 for a beer!

Jesus from Bide Ederra, Larrasoaña! Wonder hostel, he's the BEST!!
