🌻 Are you ready for the happiest day of the year? Farm Day in the City, presented by the PEI Potato Growers, is JUST around the corner and we can’t wait to mingle on Queen Street with all your lovely faces on Sunday, October 6th.

This annual open-air market and street festival calls for shopping for local produce, crafts & other goodies, enjoying live entertainment, face painting, petting dogs & other fuzzy farm animals, balloon twisting, eating tasty food, sipping on delicious drinks, and chatting with all the happy people. 🌞

Fall feels are upon us 🍂

And you know what that means? The Charlottetown Scarecrow Festival is right around the corner!

Kicking off on October 1st, this whimsical event is the largest of its kind in Atlantic Canada and features hundreds of scarecrow installations and extra fall decor throughout downtown Charlottetown 🌾

Throughout the month of October, take in self-guided scarecrow walks, open-air markets (oh hey, Farm Day in the City), block parties (lookin’ at you, Street Feast), ghost tours, tarot card readings, seance reenactments, stiltwalkers, and more!

🎡 It’s comingggg! Can you believe Old Home Week PEI starts on Friday? This beloved island tradition runs Aug 9-17 and officially marks a midway point in the summer—not an end, despite popular opinion!

🍭 This quintessential Charlottetown experience is loved by all ages and celebrates the Island’s deep agricultural roots and rich history of harness racing. The event features amusement park rides, children’s entertainers, a kids’ zone, livestock shows, the Gold Cup & Saucer Race (Aug 17), and so much more.

🎊 And don’t miss the Gold Cup Parade, the largest parade east of Montreal, on Aug 16th.
