As most of you know we are a small family run business. School and pre k programs have been closed so this snow fall had its challenges! We have been working around the clock to try and get the trails cleared out so we can offer some sleigh rides! The good news Is our sledding hill is going to be epic this winter 🙂 Our online booking is now up and running and sleigh rides will be opening back up tomorrow evening

With every sleigh rides comes complimentary hot chocolate and home made cookies (made by our 9 and 12 year old daughters) a Petting farm, (feel free to feed the animals $1 to buy some treats) sledding hill (take your sleds) and a fire pit (s’more kits available for purchase $4)

Brudenell Riding Stables is hiring for our 2024 season. (Emerald Isle sister company)

We are a family owned business operating out of the Provincial Park near Georgetown Prince Edward Island, Canada.
We offer guided horseback riding tours through the woods, and on the beach. Our rides are one hour walking trail ride We are open from mid June to the end of September. We are looking for courteous, responsible, dedicated, outgoing, energetic applicants, who have horse knowledge, and great people skills, opportunity for housing and stabling if you own your own horse! Wages to be determined by experience and responsibilities.

We are looking for four full-time workers and four part-time/weekenders to complete our team.

Job requirements

- must have experience with horses
- tasks include: cleaning stalls, tacking up, grooming, riding, guiding tours, interacting with the customers.
- need to have first aid cpr, or willing to take the course
- have good customer service in the public
-flexible hours
- must be comfortable with working outside in hot environment
-June to October

Thanks to the City of Charlettetown, Phillip Brown and the counsellors! Was a great turn out and a fantastic event!

What a fun time today participating in the City of Charlottetown, PE Christmas Parade with my Council colleagues Philip Brown, John McAleer, and Alanna Jankov.

An outstanding crowd lined the parade route to share in festive greetings. Lots of positive energy, smiles, and families coming together, all of which helped to kick off the Christmas season with a bang.

Special thanks to Emerald Isle Carriage Tours for the most enjoyable ride with their beautiful horses!

What a beautiful sight to wake up too,
PEI’s first snow fall!
We can’t wait for the snow to be here to stay and be able to offer some winter wonderland sleigh rides all winter long! P.S. We won’t be offering Christmas light tours in down town Charlettetown this winter as we decided we would like to offer as many sleigh rides from home as we can with our family!!! The children really love staying home, making memories and entertaining guests!

Good morning. It’s finally the opening day of Lakeside Trail Rides. It’s been an extremely busy 3 weeks and we are so excited for this new adventure. If you would like to stop by and say hi or check out the new stables the address is 760 Lakeside road, Morell.
We are not 100% finished yet we still have lots to do, we jumped into this project not having a clue how much time, money, sweat and tears it would take to turn it back into a working stables! But we did it!!!! Lakeside Trail Rides July 10, 2023
