We are thrilled to announce The Bog Tours are back!

Join us this Spring to explore The Bog: Charlottetown’s historic Black neighbourhood. Discover the lesser-known parts of our history and see the places where the Island’s historic Black community lived and thrived.

Tours take place on Fridays and Saturdays beginning April 11 until May 31st. Tours start and end at Beaconsfield Historic House and are FREE for community organizations, clubs, sports teams, associations, volunteer groups and more! Individuals can also book using our pay-what-you-can option (suggested amount of $5). School groups are welcome up to a maximum of 35 students per tour.

Please note this is a walking tour (45 minutes) and weather-dependent.

This program is funded by the PEI Government Anti-Racism Grant, in partnership with the PEI Black Cultural Society.

Brookvale Demo Woodlot, Cardigan River Trails and the Acadian Forest Trails have all been groomed for your fat biking and snowshoeing pleasure! Please enjoy and remember to please avoid creating holes by walking on soft snow without snowshoes.

This weekend and in the days to come, we plan to give the first groomings to Glasgow Hills and Rotary Park in Summerside as well.
