Some memories of our last guide trip with a great group from Michigan. We were unfortunate to have terrible conditions but still managed over 50 fish for the day. We can't wait for them to come back this year.

The Mitchells Bay Pool House is back. Sorry we missed you last year!

This year we are starting something new and exciting! We are going to offer fully guided fishing trips. Not just a day of fishing. We offer meals, accomodations, swimming pool, heck we will probably even mix your drinks. Are you tired of organizing everything and driving hours north and then the work just begins. Cooking, cleaning, cleaning fish and on and on. We have 3 awsome guides with great boats and all the best gear. We have 6 beds so we can handle groups up to 6 people. We can offer totally customized trips and can take care of everything. All you have to do is show up and enjoy. We are located on Lake St Clair, one of the best fish factories anywhere! Team Poolhouse had a great time at the Mitchell's Bay Open this year. One boat cracked the top 10 against a stacked field of anglers. Thanks so much to all the volunteers that make this a special event. Cheers!

Well the pool house renovation is complete. It now has a great area to get out of the sun/rain. Now it's time for some relaxation!

All you need to bring is your party,all you need to do is show up and we will take care of the rest. Lake St Clair is one of North America's premier smallmouth bass destinations and now it is available to you. Ask for details.

We still have some weeks avail in Sept and Oct. In Sept the nights start cooling off enough to sit by a fire and the days are still hot enough to enjoy the pool. Fishing on the lake in late Sept and in October is best of the year.

Well the government says cottage rentals are good to go so if you had a date scheduled you are on track and if you were thinking of booking, still lots of great dates available. The summer is suppose to be hot and with the fishies left alone all spring I think the fishing is going to be on fire!
