Last weekend we had the pleasure of attending more training in Toronto with Sunwing, Norwegian cruise line, Sandos hotels and resorts, Jamaica, Explora Journeys, Air Canada Vacations, Hyatt collection, Oceania Cruises, Manulife, Transat, and Uniworld.
We stayed at the Marriott Element, a super cute hotel by the airport, with breakfast included. Dalila and I had two different types of rooms, but loved them both.

Home from another week in Houston. Had some great food - everything from traditional Mexican, Tex-Mex, BBQ, seafood to Italian and steak. Did some shopping and of course did some work. With so much to see and do in Houston I need to go back and stay just for fun. Stayed most of the week at the Westin Memorial City but moved to a Courtyard Marriott near the airport on the last night. Here are some pics of the hotels. Both were great.

Last stop on our vacation was Orlando where we spent three nights at the Marriott Grand Vista and two nights at Disney’s Port Orleans. We relaxed by the pools, did some shopping and checked out Hollywood Studios, Epcot and Magic Kingdom. A great way to end an amazing vacation!

Next up was our cruise. We’ve cruised with Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Carnival, but this was our first with Princess. We sailed out of NYC on the Enchanted Princess with stops in Newport, Rhode Island, Boston Massachusetts, Bar Harbor Maine and Halifax Nova Scotia. We had a mini suite with an extended balcony. The ship was beautiful and had a friendly staff. The stops were amazing and we did and saw some great things including a tour of the Breakers mansion, Fenway Park and the Harbor Hopper in Halifax. We walked around all the towns and would love to go back and spend more time in each port of call. Cruising is a great way to experience new places without having to pack and unpack a number of times. We were lucky to catch sightings of dolphins and whales from the cruise ship.

We spent two days in New York, exploring its vibrant energy and iconic landmarks. We bought the all inclusive 2 day Go City pass that includes admission to many of the attractions in NYC. We used the Hop On Hop Off bus to make our way around the town. We toured Madison Square Gardens, did the Top of the Rock, Empire State Building, 9-11 Memorial and museum, cruised around the city and by the Statue of Liberty; walked through Central Park and stopped in Grand Central Station. It was a whirlwind experience but we packed a lot in! We stayed at the Sheraton Times Sqaure which was a great location.

After an amazing two-week getaway, it’s great to be back and recharged! Ready to dive back into the groove with fresh energy and new perspectives.
