Tomorrow is Wednesday - that means its Market Day in Chemainus. Local group Sweet Harmony will be playing on the plaza at the Market this week . Come on down for a listen. Lots of great vendors and a lovely variety of products. The Market runs until September 18th.

The Cowichan Neighborhood House Association is holding the
1st Annual BACK TO SCHOOL Supplies Drive for Chemainus Families.

There are lots of times in the year that can be tough for people in these hard economic times. We know for families, back to school can be exciting times but also very stressful!

Cash Donations are always welcome, with a tax receipt for more then $25.00, to help us run programs such as this!

Wounded Warriors Canada (WWC) is a national mental health service provider dedicated to serving Trauma Exposed Organizations, Trauma Exposed Professionals, and their families.

The Royal Canadian Legion Chemainus Branch 191 is hosting a fundraising dinner for the Wounded Warriors Run BC Team on Friday, August 30th. Reserve your tickets for this event by Wednesday, August 28th.

Please take note of the Crofton boat launch closure next week.

Heads-up boaters - the Crofton boat launch will be closed starting 7:30am Monday, Mar. 25 until the end of day Thursday, Mar. 28 to allow crews to replace the ramp to the floats in preparation for new floats that will be installed next month. Alternate ocean boat access can be found at Maple Bay Beach and Chemainus' Kin Beach.⛵
