Check out our upcoming backpacking & through-hiking trips! We’re running an intro to backpacking July 19-21, and we’re extra excited for our HBC Heritage Trail through-hike from August 9-16!

These courses are a perfect way to explore the backcountry around the Fraser Valley with an accredited guide that can walk you through all the tips and tricks of the trade.

The HBC Heritage Trail is a 74km trail that follows a historic travel route through the eastern Cascades - the adventure of a lifetime.

The word is in… BC mountains are holding the lowest spring snowpack in FIFTY YEARS ‼️

According to the latest update from the BC River Forecast Center, the average snowpack across the province is 63% of normal.

This doesn’t just mean spring skiing will be short-lived… this has a real impact on the river paddling season.

Program Launch!! Vedder Mountain Bike Shuttles are officially on for Tomorrow, Saturday, March 30th 10am - 6pm starting from the Vedder Mountain Bikers parking lot.

This is a soft season launch so stay tuned for the season schedule in the coming days. We will selling one ups, and accepting 10 punch passes, however we will not be selling 10 punch passes for tomorrow.

…. There are rumours of season’s passes and updated punch passes coming soon… but we can’t confirm if this is some sort of amazing new futuristic reality or just speculation… time will tell.

Drew Breyshaw is a well known Chilliwack based climber and mountaineer who has pioneered rock climbs and ice climbs throughout BC. He brings us along on his journey to summit Mt. Waddington, sharing photos and stories and delving into the incredible history of this Western Canadian Landmark.

This Mountain Town Series is coming up on Thursday, April 11th, and is shaping up to be another great night with all proceeds going to help support the work of the whose mandate is to develop and promote climbing throughout the Fraser Valley. The venue is the same as last time, The Grand Hall, in in downtown Chilliwack.

This is a licensed event with a bar serving wine and beer so please plan for a safe ride home.
