The tour starts at 10:30 am, and is $20 per person. We'll meet at the entrance to Central Community Park on Victoria Avenue. Parking is available on Victoria Avenue and Mill Street.

Thanks to Chilltv for featuring us on their "Meet the Neighbours" segment this week. We battled the wind on the day we filmed, so some parts may be a bit difficult to hear.

It was great to show Cari some of the murals around Downtown Chilliwack and talk about Chilliwack Tours and the Chilliwack Mural Festival.

Welcome to the sixth year of the Chilliwack Mural Festival! We are thrilled to invite talented local, national, and international artists to apply for the 2025 festival. This annual celebration of public art continues to grow as a hub for creativity, community engagement, and bold artistic innovation.

The Highroad Academy class enjoyed the first mural tour in Central Village so much, they asked to do another one a few weeks later! This time, we focused on District 1881 and all of the great murals in that area. After this, we'll only have the Main Street murals left to do.

Thanks to Destination BC and Tourism Ch'illiwack for arranging a mural tour in District 1881 for a group of travel writers from Vancouver and Calgary. The writers all target the Asia-Pacific region with their websites and articles; they'll be writing about Chilliwack as a visitor destination.

It was a pleasure to lead the group and share a little about Chilliwack's history before we viewed a number of murals from the Chilliwack Mural Festival, including works by Carrielynn Victor, Juanjo Surace, Curtis Hylton and Malik.

During today's tour with some home schooled children from Chilliwack (and their parents), we asked the children "Why do muralists create art?" One of my favourite answers was from a very young girl who said "It inspires people".

Here's the group getting inspiration from 's recent work for the . And for extra fun, one of the students was inspired to draw me while we did the tour. I present the latest work from the local artist "Ailaa".
