Well first time shooting Aurora this season and I'm a little rusty. Forgot to charge my batteries so my camera died just as the lights started picking up hence this time lapse getting cut short. @teamwapusk @naturalhabitatadventures @travelmanitoba @explorecanada

Riding the coat tails of David de Muelles's video, but here's what happens when the dog doesn't want to be pet anymore.

Kicking myself for not bringing my camera yesterday, luckily I had just enough battery left on my phone to video this mom and her two coys walk behind my vehicle.

Still don't have the patience to set up my camera long enough for a proper time lapse of the northern lights, but here is 6 seconds of Wednesday night's light show!

Our Story

Discover Churchill was founded in 2016 by Alex de Vries-Magnifico, a local photographer in Churchill. Through his photos he started receiving guiding requests from photographers and film crews. Emerging as a tour operator that offered a more specialized product catering to small groups and individuals demand quickly soared. Discover Churchill now employs four guides seasonally and can accommodate up to 12 guests. DC operates in March, August, September, October and November. Prime Aurora viewing occurs in March, August and September. While Polar Bear viewing is best from August to November
