Over 45 people rafted down our beautiful backyard Bow River with me this year❤️🤘🌊🥰
From River Raft Adventures to Women On The Water: Camp Outs, this was the busiest season on the raft yet! Thank you to everyone who booked an experience this year and in years past; I love sharing this river with people, and giving folks access to this section who may not have had the means to before.
By providing all the gear, the guiding, and the shuttle logistics, my rafting trips are designed to be as rewarding as possible with no work required on your end.
I already can't wait to see how 2025 shapes up! THANK YOU Adventurers for such an epic season, and stay tuned for booking dates to be released later this Fall❤️

I've joined @brhume.yyc of Team Bryak to support the Centre for Suicide Prevention - we are hosting a Paddle For Life campaign, our paddling spin on the #RunForLife initiative that is hosted every September.
Myself and a few others are raising funds in support of the Centre for Suicide Prevention, as well as paddling to bring awareness to the topic and to simply talk with our community about suicide.
We would love your support. If you're able to donate to our team, please click the link below. If you want to come out for a paddle, reach out!

Call To Action: save the Kananaskis River from TransAlta
⬇️⬇️⬇️
This issue hits close to my heart.
The Kananaskis River is a local (and national) staple for whitewater enthusiasts and tourists alike. This river has turned me into the kayaker I am today, and has been an amazing training ground to test my skills on my paddle board, and showcase our province in my raft.
From @albertawhitewater
"As of August 28, 2024, TransAlta has confirmed that they are blocking maintenance of Kananaskis Whitewater in September 2024...
Blocking river construction is in addition to refusing to provide flows that would allow a Lower Kananaskis River recreation economy to exist. We have done construction with TransAlta for 40 years with no issues until 2024. We need to do construction to maintain and improve the Kananaskis Whitewater.
...Without the ability to maintain and improve Kananaskis Whitewater, the river will become unsafe and all the features, will be lost. By blocking construction and continuing to be hostile to river recreation, TransAlta will destroy the Kananaskis Whitewater, the $30M river recreation economy, and the major cultural and environmental benefits provided by the public asset.
...We will also be working with the Province to find long-term solutions to the new flow issues that TransAlta has created this summer.
WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP
Please email:
Minister of Environment and Protected Areas, Rebecca Schulz: [email protected]
Minister of Tourism and Sport, Joseph Schow: [email protected]
Your MLA:

Items to include are:
•Ask the Alberta Government to force TransAlta to make the Lower Kananaskis River SAFE for in-river construction in September 2024 for the Kananaskis Whitewater maintenance project.
•What does the Kananaskis mean to you?
•How would the loss of the Mountain Wave and Kananaskis Whitewater affect you?
•Pictures and or video of you enjoying the river
