Canadian legendary bluesman and guitarist, Johnny 'V' Mills, lived here at The Blues' Barn. He had an amazing career producing music for many famous musicians. He won many awards including a Juno award for his work on "Saturday Night Blues", a compilation of various Canadian Blues artists.

He had collaborated with some bigtime blues artists such as B. B. King, John Hammond, Otis Rush, Dr. John, Amos Garrett, Richard Wells (AKA King Biscuit) and many more.

Johnny V appeared in Amos Garrett's music video " Poor Fool Like Me".

He also played at many venues across Canada and was passionate with his music.
