With their biggest hits topping singles charts worldwide, Simon & Garfunkel won 10 Grammy Awards and earned a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.
Their final album, Bridge over Troubled Water, is ranked at number 51 on Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, and the duo has sold more than 100 million records.

Toronto’s John Sheard, known for his role as music director for Stuart McLean’s Vinyl Café from 1997-2016, brings a wealth of experience with 8 solo piano recordings and collaborations with a diverse range of artists.

Since 1975, he has contributed to recordings with stars like Rita MacNeil, Olivia Newton-John, Ian and Sylvia Tyson, and many others. Sheard has performed with an impressive roster including Rough Trade, Jackie Richardson, John McDermott, and Art Garfunkel, and has produced and arranged music for The Guess Who, Buster Poindexter, and others.

His work extends to television with credits on shows like A+E’s Biography, Sesame Street, So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing with the Stars, and David Letterman’s Hollywood Film Festival.
