Tips For Booking Wedding Transportation
1. Timeline – map out how the bulk of your day will be spent & allow some cushioning. Once you’ve established a basic timeline, it’s time to start researching transportation options. Ideally 6 months prior to the big day.
2. Budget – some companies will charge a minimum of 3-4 hours. If getting married in the summer, you’ll want to make sure there’s air conditioning.
3. The Fine Print – get a written agreement that includes the cost, overtime rate per hour, any deposits required, refund & gratuity policy, arrival & departure locations, pick-up/drop-off times.
4. Prepare Yourself – you’ve likely been obsessing over your itinerary, but make sure to email it to your transportation company.
5. Go The Extra Mile – consider that some guests may wish to leave earlier, so have a shuttle service that will offer an early & later return.
