A mere 20 minutes away from the cabin, eagles time their feeding to the rhythm of the tide. A little after the tide starts rising, huge currents push up hake fish, rushing to the surface like bubbles in a hot pot of water. In turn the hake cannot equalize fast enough creating air internally. Floating helplessly to the surface the hake becomes a predictable target for the eagles. The eagles gather at large, competing with each other and rushing tidal rapids for the freshly floating hake. Enjoy a few shots from the talented Dolf Vermeulen Creative.
