These six communities in Gros Morne National Park have come together as part of the Gros Morne Tourism Regional Implementation Partnership (GMTRIP) to grow sustainable tourism, protect the region's stunning landscapes, and enhance the quality of life for residents.

Together, these communities are leading the way in creating meaningful, sustainable tourism experiences while tackling important challenges like climate change. ๐Ÿ’ช๐ŸŒ

Research shows that visitors to Atlantic Canada are likely to visit more than one of the four provinces during their stay. ACAT formed two airline partnerships in the Germany market to bring visitors to the region. One with Condor and travel trade partner CANUSA, and a second with Discover Airlines with campaigns to promote flights from their Frankfurt to Halifax routes, which ran May to October.

A new project was announced on October 18th to develop and promote Newfoundland & Labradorโ€™s culinary tourism offerings! ๐Ÿด

This project includes a contribution of $246,000 on behalf of the Government of Newfoundland and Labradorโ€™s Department of Industry, Energy and Technology and a non-repayable federal investment of $981,000 through Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency to help Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador implement a pan-provincial approach to promote and develop culinary products in the province.
