Welcome to our newest member, the Burgeo & Southwest Coast Community Alliance aka BASCA. 🌊

Formed in 2024, BASCA aims to boost tourism and conservation along the southwest coast. Its initiatives include supporting Sandbanks Provincial Park, protecting marine and terrestrial areas, educating about Burgeo First Nation's heritage, fostering local business development, and enhancing tourism infrastructure.

As a non-profit organization we are grateful for the support of our members. Membership helps us to maintain competitiveness as a destination through focused branding and marketing strategies, develop priority areas, and work to establish year-round and seasonal tourism clusters.

Just a reminder, invoices must be paid within 60 days to keep your membership as per our bylaws.

Shout out to Cow Head, St. Paul's, Norris Point, Glenburnie-Birchy Head-Shoal Brook, Woody Point, & Trout River!

These six communities in Gros Morne National Park have come together as part of the Gros Morne Tourism Regional Implementation Partnership (GMTRIP) to grow sustainable tourism, protect the region's stunning landscapes, and enhance the quality of life for residents.

Together, these communities are leading the way in creating meaningful, sustainable tourism experiences while tackling important challenges like climate change. 💪🌍

Research shows that visitors to Atlantic Canada are likely to visit more than one of the four provinces during their stay. ACAT formed two airline partnerships in the Germany market to bring visitors to the region. One with Condor and travel trade partner CANUSA, and a second with Discover Airlines with campaigns to promote flights from their Frankfurt to Halifax routes, which ran May to October.
