⚠️ Resort Closed Today: No Operations ⚠️

Unseasonably warm weather persists at Mount Washington Alpine Resort, and after the rain last night, our team has made the tough decision to suspend operations for the day. The chairlifts will not spin, and all alpine and Nordic activities are closed. 🌧️

The retail store is open until 1 pm, and Eagle View Bistro will remain open regular hours so at least we can enjoy some treats... We hope to hunker down during this downpour to maintain what we can of the slope conditions for when colder temperatures do arrive. The good news is, our forecast appears to be improving in the coming days, and we still have plenty of time left in our winter season to enjoy together. Thanks for your understanding. See you soon.

Great news 🥳 – the Eagle Chair is officially up and running this morning! Thanks for hanging in there with us through the slow kick-off to the season. Our ops team has been all hands on deck to get more lifts and slopes ready for you to enjoy. 🏂⛷️

Just a heads-up that we're still in early-season mode, so let's keep it safe while we're getting our powder fix. Be mindful of the Alpine Responsibility Code, never enter closed boundaries, and keep an eye out on the Daily Dispatch for more updates. It’s been just over a year since purchasing this wonderful place and what a year it’s been. Thank you so much to everyone who has stayed here and taken care of it like it was your own. I am forever grateful to you all.
I am also grateful to those of you who’ve left helpful suggestions along the way. Every off season I plan to change a little something to hopefully make your stay a little better. So far this month we’ve fixed all the screens and added in a screen door to the deck to help with the hot summer months. We’ve also updated the stove to this beautiful new to us convection oven with glass top.

Beautiful clear skies made for excellent snowshoeing weather this weekend around the Forbidden Plateau.

The Lake Helen MacKenzie and Battleship Lake loop is a gentle 8.5 km, heavily trafficked route that offers ample scenery. It begins and ends at Raven's Lodge at Mount Washington Alpine Resort where rentals are available on a full-day or half-day basis. Enjoy!
