April 15 - May 15, 2015 - One Month Stay!

We were here for one month waiting for our new home to be built in the area. The cottage was well equipped, nicely decorated and cozy. It certainly met our needs. We spent time getting to know the area, walks to the beach, drives around the countryside and trips to Niagara Falls. I can imagine the cottage to be a perfect get away in the summer.

We're looking forward to being permanent residents in this part of our country!

Crave-by-the-Beach

CRAVE LOCAL FRESH is located at 209 Ridge Road, Ridgeway and is just a 5 minute drive from our rental property, Niagara-by-the-Beach.

Every week, Chef Matt MacGregor, owner of catering firm "CRAVE-LOCAL-FRESH" knocks us out with his uber-creativity, never failing to mesmerize us with an outstanding farm-to-table dining experience. In consultation with Brew-master Rod Daigle (usually over a pint), Chef Matt considers the beers available and the "potential of the pairing" in establishing and modifying his menu on a weekly basis. Chef Matt not only uses locally-sourced fresh produce, but also routinely incorporates the beer as well as "spent grain" from the brewing process in his culinary creations.

Brimstone-by-the-Beach

Brimstone Brewing Company is a small, independent brewery, handcrafting distinct beer in a re-imagined 20th century church. This unique environment inspires us to explore concepts of good versus evil; of light vs dark; of summer solstice vs winter. We express this in our attitude towards brewing. It is through embracing these opposing elements that we develop our beers; filled with both a sense of devotion and sinfulness. Concerts-by-the-Beach

The Sanctuary - Centre for the Arts located at 209 Ridge Rd, is only a 5 minute drive from Niagara-by-the-Beach.

The Sanctuary hosts concerts monthly. Bands such as Hey Ocean, The Watchmen, Hawksley Workman, Soho Ghetto and Ashley Macisaac have recently played.

Our family had a great time here. The house is beautiful & had everything we needed. We enjoyed the grill & the fire pit. The beach is great and the neighborhood has been very calm & quiet. We would love to visit again.

It would seem that we are the first Canadians to have the opportunity to enjoy this amazing home. We had a girl's weekend and enjoyed every minute. The house provided us with all the necessities needed in the area are friendly, this is PLEASANT-VILLE. Go enjoy the beach, so great.........
We had a weekend of laughter, friendship and crazy amazing memories!

This wonderful home provided us with a place to create a bond with each other that will never be forgotten.

Great house with lots of necessities. Sneakers is a good bar and grill to visit on the weekends if you need a drink, but it's not very busy during the weekdays.If you are looking for a great breakfast place, venture out to find Summer Delight. You get a lot of food for your dollar --> recommend the hungry man breakfast..............Niagara-on-the-lake is also a good family location. Did the Whirlpool boat tour -> got soaked and had a blast. You will need a change of clothes.
While in Crystal Beach, don't be afraid of Chuck, he's a guy in a wheel chair and he's really funny + social.
Perfect cottage house to stay in for vacation!

Our week has come to an end sadly. We had a great time. The house is very well equipped, clean, and all we needed. The town itself here is wonderful. We had some trouble with fishing. There no where in town to really fish...We met Chris the owner who came to the house to see if we needed anything and he told us about a Lake to go to which we did go to and finally found great fish. My son was extremely happy he caught 5+6 pound small + large mouth bass.......We all loved Canada and the Falls was breathtaking.

Hello!! Well it looks like we are the 2nd family to enjoy this lovely, quiant home. Greetings from Chicago, IL !! It is our first family visit to Niagara Falls and we have greatly enjoyed our stay. Renting a house provides so much more space than being cooped up in a little hotel room. With 2 big boys 11+12 yrs old we need the extra room!
The people and food and atmosphere has been amazing here. Everyone we have encountered has been incredibly nice + friendly. We all love Canada and will definitely be back so we can enjoy it in the warm weather.
We highly recommend the Fallsview Indoor Water park for a good day of family fun and Montanna's for Dinner. The all-you-can-eat BBQ ribs were outstanding! I had never had apple butter BBQ sauce before but it was delicious!!

Our 3 day stay at Niagara-by-the-Beach was great! We enjoyed our time here and the weather was perfect!!
What a great place with great use of the space! The kids loved all having their own TV in each room at night.
The place was very clean and it was great to have every kitchen necessity at your ready!......
Our family had such a great time and the neighborhood was quaint for evening walks and so quiet that we slept great!
Loved the awesome fire pit, and the grill was awesome!!

Great Place, Great Time!
Thanks for helping us make wonderful memories with our kids + our 84 year old Mom!

We were honored to be the first renters of this beautiful house!
On top of the lovely atmosphere and the homey feeling surrounded us, we enjoyed the "down to the last detail" approach felt in the overall design and in the such of the board and digital games, the movies and the well equipped kitchen.
As the snow kept us in front of the fireplace we haven't had the chance to take advantage of the welcoming backyard and porch, so it seems like we will have to come back!
