🌄 A trip recap of the Mount Albert Edward hiking route in Strathcona Provincial Park, thanks to Henry (henryhawkins on Instagram).
🥾 This memorable hike begins from the Strathcona Park Paradise Meadows trailhead, right next to Mt. Washington’s Raven Lodge. While experienced fast hikers can conquer it in a day, it is generally done as part of a one or two-night excursion.
🗺️ Although it is an achievable goal for a wide range of skill and fitness levels, it is extremely important for all hikers to be prepared for travel in this challenging alpine environment. Risk and exposure increase significantly between the Circlet Lake junction and the alpine ridge leading to the peak.
