Well we are a little late on the post but that is the end of another interesting season, we had some bad days (engine blowing up) and we had lots of fun days once we had the new engines purchased and installed. Here’s a look back on some of the fun fish we caught and some beautiful days we had. See you all in June.

Well everyone it’s been a while since we’ve posted I see and I thought I’d catch you up, new engines are running great and working perfectly, been crazy busy so I am sorry to everyone we could not get out hopefully will get you out in the future. On another note today was a wicked day for fishing here’s a couple pictures of the flounder and mackerel we caught, we even had a juvenile porbeagle decide it wanted to take a bite video in the comments

We’re back for another season!!

As some of you are aware we had to cancel all of our tours this past month due to catastrophic engine failure!

We are happy to announce we are back on the water and taking bookings! You may notice we changed things up a bit… two brand new 140hp Tohatsu outboards now sit on back of our vessel.

With this dreary winter feeling like it’s never going to end I thought I’d share some pictures from this summer’s fishing and a couple from my commercial lobster fishery that I’m doing now. Can’t wait to get back on the basin and bay this June to start catching some big fish.

And just like that another season is done and wrapped up. It was a wonderful season and great to see everyone’s smiles again, I’m so thankful to everyone that came out to enjoy the water and fish this season. Looking forward to next summer see you all in June.

Well today was the first keeper of the year for striper for us and man wasn’t it a nice one 37.5 inch, it was a great trip with great guests. Thanks guys

Well today was a good day with a couple of awesome fellers, first two stripers of the season No keepers but still fish. This is the earliest I’ve ever caught stripers before it was definitely a fun time.

Well the season started off with a bang with beautiful calm weather a amazing crew and a awesome sunset, it was a great time and a awesome start.

Well the weather was nice enough we got to put the boat in the bath and go for a cruise, went out the gut had a look at the light house and a couple little waterfalls and said hi to a friend, then we headed for bear river to see if it was still there after a long winter it most definitely was. We still have a few openings for June and July if your looking to get out in the early part of the season.

Wednesday the 12th of October (TOMORROW) looking to be a seriously fishy day. No forecasted wind to speak of, great tide, and closing in on 20 degrees! ! ! ! Leaving for a striped bass trip at 9 am, returning at 3 pm ish. Still got a few spots open. Inbox me as soon as you can if you'd like a spot. Photo is one you haven't seen before and more or less to get your attention. :-)

Well it may have been a bit bumpy/breezy/cool this afternoon but had a cancellation and thought what an opportunity to get Vladimir and Elena out for a scoot. Vladimir started it all off by hooking a 16 inch striped bass on a mackerel rig. That'd be a first. Was only a three hour trip and we had 9 stripers total two of them keepers. Elena had her own first today by landing a dogfish about 3 or 4 feet long give or take a herring. I had my own first by burying a mackerel hook deep into my thumb but I hauled it out backwards, put a bandaid on it and kept fishing. Fishing this week has been AWESOME. High water / low water no matter. If you wanna go book soon. Another two weeks and they'll be gone for the season.

So the young lady says we want a three hour trip to fish mackerel for dad. It's gonna be a surprise. Middle of the basin and I says let's just see who's hangin out on bottom. 31 1/2" striper and a 26 1/4" striper (released) and the icing on the cake was small halibut (released). First time ever hooking stripers on the 3 hour trip. Sweet surprise for us all.

Howdy Folks.... been a while since I posted. Striped Bass still a going concern and keeping me busy. Still have tides available as long as the weather holds. Saturday is tournament day at Royal Western Nova Scotia Yacht Club. Gooderoo Lucky everyone!

A lotta folks might have thought I'd gone to the dogs long ago. But had a really fun trip this day with Sam and Luke and well.... we really went to the dogs. Floppy eared love muffins. Yes they brought their people along for the trip. Pictured here is Luke the younger of the two fur balls. They are most welcome back anytime. ;)

Starting tomorrow until Aug 15 every tagged fish that is entered in the tournament gets an entry into the draw for a guided fishing trip with the Anapolis Basin Charter Tours and the Striped Bass Research Team!

This is a one-day guided trip for two anglers fishing for Striped Bass and the opportunity for the anglers to tag a bass with the Research Team!

See the previous post for how to add a tag report in your tournament entry and remember to give the tag id (BASS # # # # #) and the colour in your report and add a photo of the tag in the hero shot. Good luck anglers!
