Step back in time and stand in awe of the World's Largest Dinosaur! 🦖Drumheller, Alberta, is known for both its coal mining history and dinosaur fossils. Drumheller is home to rich fossil history, and this giant is just the beginning of your adventure into the past.

Because of the large size and scale, the structure needed to be sturdy. Engineers had to ensure it was both safe for visitors and resistant to weather elements like wind and snow. They decided on using a steel frame for the skeleton of the dinosaur, which was then covered in fiberglass.

Artists and engineers create blueprints or 3D models of the dinosaur. Considerations are made for its size, proportions, and overall appearance.
The idea for the giant dinosaur came from the desire to create a landmark that would attract tourists to Drumheller, a town famous for its dinosaur fossils.
