She is 86 feet tall and opened on October 13th, 2000. We also have a fantastic gift shop with World's Largest Dinosaur branded items and unique local souvenirs. We are also home to the Drumheller Visitor Information Centre, conveniently located underneath Tyra. We carry a broad range of maps, brochures, restaurant menus, and accommodation info. Please note that our hours change seasonally.

Our Story

The World's Largest Dinosaur is 4 times larger than a Tyrannosaurus Rex standing 82 feet tall. Visitors can climb 106 steps to the mouth to view the badlands & Drumheller, Alberta, Canada. Opened to the public on October 13, 2000. Summer hours are 10am-8pm.
