She is 86 feet tall and opened on October 13th, 2000. We also have a fantastic gift shop with World's Largest Dinosaur branded items and unique local souvenirs. We are also home to the Drumheller Visitor Information Centre, conveniently located underneath Tyra. We carry a broad range of maps, brochures, restaurant menus, and accommodation info. Please note that our hours change seasonally.

Our World's Largest Dinosaur continues to give back to the community in a big way!

The World’s Largest Dinosaur Legacy Fund is awarding $40,000 to five local organizations:

Badlands Trail Society
Hoodoods Music League
Midlandvale Community Hall Association
Nacmine Community Center Association
Valley Growers Learning Garden

These funds will support various community projects, from outdoor ice skating trails to music festivals and community gardens.

Since 2004, the WLD Legacy Fund has invested over $850,000 in the Drumheller region, supporting 42 non-profit organizations and 44 businesses.

The World's Largest Dinosaur is 4 times larger than a Tyrannosaurus Rex standing 82 feet tall. Visitors can climb 106 steps to the mouth to view the badlands & Drumheller, Alberta, Canada. Opened to the public on October 13, 2000. Summer hours are 10am-8pm.
