The farmhouse rentals have come to another year end. 15 years have gone by so fast!!!. Thank you to everyone who visited this year. Guests from a variety places; Europe, USA, North West Territories, Quebec and many from the GTA. Opens again mid May.

What to do on a rainy day at the farmhouse? Horse-opoly !! Not properties, houses and hotels. You buy horses, bales of hay and barns; learn about all the expenses with horses. Buy as many horses before running out of money. Hours and hours of fun !!

Happy Canada Day from the Hanna Farm. I always think of my Gr Grandfather Alexander Hanna on this day; he arrived in Canada from Ireland in 1866 so he was here for the 1st Canada Day in 1867.

Happy Mothers Day from the Hanna Farmhouse. The crab apple tree and lilacs are almost in full bloom which is about 3 weeks early. With so much rain everything is green just like Ireland.

Farmhouse Family History: The farmhouse was a prefab home purchased from the Eatons Catalogue in 1927. House has original hardware floors, wooden archways, trim and kitchen cupboards. The house has been described by our guests as very cozy.
Originally built by Mildred Hanna and Samual Lyons. In 1937 Earl and Marion Hanna moved to the farm where Earl lived until his death 1982. Marion lived in this farmhouse for 61 years until she moved to a nursing home in 1998. The farm now belongs to Wendy Hanna Strong. In 2010 the farmhouse became a vacation rental for guests to experience life in the country. We have had visitors from Scotland, England, Ireland, Romania, Iceland, USA and Canada.
Short term rentals; minimum of 3 nights with check in/outs on Mondays and Fridays. Discounts on weekly rentals.
Open from mid May till end the October.
