The thing about selling online is that you really need to be able to take nice photos of your stuff. I struggle with this, it’s a whole different skill set and I just have no patience for it. I would much rather sell in person, despite being horribly introverted. Anyway, I’m working on it. I have a couple of large sewing orders I’m working on finishing right now, and once those are done I’m opening back up with DRESSES because I know you want them. (Thank you for all of the interest!) it won’t be much longer. :) Stay safe and go wash your hands.

I thought I had better make some time to post a shout out to this AMAZING endeavour. I snagged one of the inaugural boxes and I’m in love. Look at all this Haldimand awesomeness from The Carolinian Cafe Wyatt’s Produce Stand and Creekside Apiaries. I hope I didn’t miss anyone. So much hometown goodness all together in one box. And I LOVE that Wyatt’s Produce Stand is in here!! If you’re ever out by Selkirk stop and check him out, he’s a kid that’s going places. ❤️ Love this box and love how Haldimand is finally being showcased!

Finished set for a girl and her doll. :). There is another skirt for her little sister too, but do you think I could get it all in one shot? A photographer I am not. Lol. Anyway, hope you’re having a pegacaticorn with rainbow Pom Poms kind of a day!

05/23/2020

Today I’m finishing up a special project order even though I’m technically “on hiatus”, because it’s for an amazing girl’s birthday, and when birthdays have to happen in isolation they deserve extra special attention!! This is part of a larger set which I will post a pic of when finished, and easily the smallest scrunchie I’ve made. Im having way too much fun with it, it’s adorable. Lol. I’m also considering opening back up for awhile soon, I have a bunch of dresses I had already made pre-pandemic and sooooo much beautiful fabric that needs to be set free in the sunshine. Stay tuned for more info. Stay safe out there! And go wash your hands!

04/24/2020

Can we all pause a moment and look at the sweetness of this bunny? A customer crocheted her a wee little sweater!! 😍😍🤩I immediately offered her a job (she’s going to get back to me). This kind of thing makes me so happy and so satisfied, not only because there’s someone else out there who “gets it”, but also because I want to play with it. Like, look at that button. C’mon. ❤️. Thank you Jennifer for the photos. I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. Be kind to one another and we will get through this together.

04/06/2020

Hey folks, with the cancellation or postponement of all of the spring shows, and with the summer looking really questionable, I’ve decided to officially put Lilli & Lotti on the back burner for awhile. We are living in strange times, and I want to focus on doing the best I can for my family (and maybe figure out this online schooling stuff 😜). I’m also going to try my best to disconnect from social media, which I am finding to be an increasingly negative place, and these days the last thing anyone needs is more bad head space. I’m sure I will be back when there is more room in the day for creativity. In the meantime be safe, be good and take care of each other. ❤️

03/23/2020

Bunny winners! Thanks for sharing all of the positivity, everyone! And congratulations to Tiffany Barnes, April Harrington-Williamson and mccutcheonhaupt! Send me a message and we will arrange the porch pick up. 🙂

03/21/2020

This is now closed! 🙂

So, how’s it going out there?? Everybody washing their hands? Like (almost😡) everyone else we are hunkered down, watching the craziness unfold, and I’ve been thinking about ways that I can help. For the time being Lilli & Lotti is going to be on hiatus while I turn my attention to other things, but before that I wanted to spread a little sunshine, so I am going to give away three bunnies in a bag. 🙂. There are some conditions, though, so please read. 1. These are not suitable for children under three because of the small parts. 2. You must be able to do a porch pick up in Dunnville. I won’t be shipping. That’s it. To enter, leave a comment telling me something funny or positive you’ve seen or done lately, or if all else fails, your favourite joke. I will draw three (3) random winners on Monday. And if you happen to want more of these, I have a few left. Message me and I’ll snap pics. $25 each. Thanks and stay an appropriate distance away from each other, kids. We will get through this. ❤️

Same dress, same girl, but two years apart! I’m not pulling your leg when I say these dresses last forever! I’m going to make an educated guess and say we will get at least one, but probably another two, years out of this one as a top. When is the last time you could say that about something you bought from Walmart? 🤔😉•

02/08/2020

You may have noticed that things have been quiet over here. Don’t worry, all is well, I’m just taking a period of slowing down to focus on my family and my health. Winter is a natural slow time for my business, and it makes sense for me to use this time to recharge, balance and find my creativity again. My best ideas come in quiet moments, and the best memories when I’m fully present, so I’m making room for both. I’m still here though, and answering messages (although Facebook has been glitching hard in that area), and I’ll be back at it soon enough. Spring has her hand on the garden gate, after all, and will be here soon. 🌷🌷🌷

So happy to be returning to this amazing event this spring!! What a great way to brighten a grey day. ❤️

Happy New Year from our gang to yours! 2019 was a huge year for this tiny little business, and all of the support from far and wide has meant more than you know. To my wonderful, awesome & amazing loyal customers: thank you thank you thank you! For not only giving me your business and allowing me to keep doing this thing I love, but for also “getting it” and the encouragement. And the photos! There is truly nothing more rewarding than seeing something you made bring happiness to a child. And thank you also to my fellow makers, what an unbelievable community to be a part of! I met so many amazing, talented and truly generous people this year, and I’m so blessed to count a number of you as friends.
I’ve got a bit of work yet to do and a website to finish, then I’m going to take a winter break to recharge and spend some time with my family. Big plans have already been set into motion and I’m super excited for the year to come. So here’s to 2020, and all the promise it brings. - Christine. •

The Christmas tree is still up and I’m planning summer. 🤷‍♀️ I’ve already scooped up some unbelievably beautiful fabric, and I’m going to stretch my legs a bit in 2020 and try some new things. Stay tuned, it’s going to be awesome. 😜 photo by Alesha Allen Photography

Merry Christmas from our house to yours. May you never be too grown up for the magic of Christmas Eve. 🌟

12/20/2019

FLASH CLEARANCE SALE! I’m trying to clear out my sewing room to prep for some new shelves ‘n’ things in the new year, and I have half a rack of skirts that need to go. $10 each or 3 for $25! It doesn’t get any better than that, folks! Shipping is available as well for an extra $5. Comment on the photo to claim the skirt. 😋

12/03/2019

Ok, one more. 😛. Our friends over at Blythe House are hosting a Christmas pop up to help raise some funds for their niece Edith, who is having a rather expensive surgery this month that will greatly improve her ability to walk. I’m happy to be a part of this event, so come out for an evening of refreshments, raffles, door prizes and a selection of local handmade makers for a great cause. ❤️ .

11/22/2019

Isn’t this PRETTY?!! Some of it is on its way to be at this moment, and will be dresses next year. 😍😍😍😛

Local artisans’ creations hit the runway at River Arts Festival fashion show

Here’s an article about the fashion show we were in on Friday, and some shots of the dresses I collaborated on with Lindsay Cayuela of Glassroots Sea Glass Art.

From film to nature, the sources of inspiration for the designers were as varied as their pieces in the second annual River Arts Festival Artisan Fashion Show.

Big box o’bunnies getting packed up and ready for tomorrow at Rockway Vineyards. ❤️🐰.

11/13/2019

I’ve seen the vendor line up for this one and it’s Ah-maze-ing. I’ve got my shopping all planned out because I follow some of these awesome makers and hey hey I’m there too! It’s going to be a fabulous day and not one to miss.

11/12/2019

Exciting news! We’ve been working on a little side project behind the scenes. I have teamed up with the amazing Lindsay of to create five one of a kind dresses for the Artisan Fashion Show that is this Friday evening, here in Dunnville, at . I sewed up some linen dresses and Lindsay painted five beautiful original works of art on each one! Stay tuned for photos, or better yet come out for a very cool evening of handmade fashion and art. Thank you Lindsay For being such an amazing collaborator. 😘 •

11/09/2019

Hey, did I hear you say you need a hug? Griz is the cuddle king. He’s available to order now too, $15 for 30cm of snuggle. Not suitable for kids under age three due to small parts. •

11/08/2019

Another little bunny because she makes me smile. I think she looks like she’s out on a windy day. 🌬 When I say everything I make is made by hand, it’s true! All of my embroidery is done the old fashioned way, one stitch at a time and by me. It makes every little creature I create one of a kind and with their own personality. •

11/06/2019

Introducing a new colour bunny for this year, I just love this chocolate brown. And they are so soft. 🥰. This year I have dark brown, chocolate brown, black and pink available. Photos coming soon!! I’ve been working on them! Each bunny is hand embroidered by me, and comes with six wee skirts to change, a crocheted scarf, and a bag to keep everything in. They are available for order now for $35 each. Not suitable for children under age three due to small parts. Each one is unique and, as one sweet owner put, perfectly imperfect. ❤️•

11/06/2019

This crossed my path and I need to hear it. Shout out to everyone else working to make it happen in stolen moments. ❤️

10/31/2019

Don’t let the rain stop the fun! Besides, it will help you flooooaaaattt. Happy Halloween from Lilli & Lotti. 🤡 🎈 🎈 •

Our Story

Lilli & Lotti started as a collaboration of two life long best friends and stay at home moms, as a creative outlet and a reason to get together. Life moves on, as it often does, and things change - Carrie went back to the working world and Christine took over the business full time. The creative vision of Lilli & Lotti remains unchanged however - to create quality handmade things for kids, always with the fun and magic of childhood in mind. We’re still doing things our own way, a little off the beaten path. Lilli & Lotti is proudly located in Dunnville, Ontario.
