There are tours of many, many kinds in Europe, but South America has a beauty that's all it's own as well!
For those with an adventurous spirit, here is a 10 day jaunt called 'Costa Rica Escape with Tortuguero'.
Beginning and ending exploring San Jose, Costa Rica, and heading to an area reachable only by air or water, you'll explore Tortuguero National Park. There you'll visit a sea turtle conservancy, cruise canals in search of creatures that stalk, slither or soar and make your way towards Arenal, where the hanging bridges stretch to heart-stirring heights through the rainforest canopy, and the depths of the earth deliver lava trails to follow. See Arenal Volcano, and then explore the wild places where pumas and jaguars prowl, while keeping your eyes to the skies in search of butterflies, monkeys and macaws in the Monteverde Cloud Forest. How awesome would that be?

I'm back!

Home safe and sound from my Alaskan conference at sea where I joined a crew of over 300 travel consultants, supplier partners and head office staff to network and soak up as much info as possible!
Many might not realize, but these business trips come at a cost for me. I spend both money and time to seize opportunities like this because I believe in understanding the products and collaborating closely with our suppliers. It is also essential to stay updated on the latest travel offerings and to establish personal connections with the people I communicate with via email everyday, especially when extra support might be needed. The travel industry evolves rapidly, and attending conferences like these is indispensable for staying informed. I was happy to be in attendance.

Sea days were work days, but ports in beautiful Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan called for fun, so my Mom & I found a bit of that too!

While I was away, the largest ship in the world set sail on her maiden voyage, and all of the early reviews coming in say she's worthy of every bit of the hype that she's receiving!
'Icon of the Seas' is Royal Caribbeans newest ship. With room for 7600 passengers, 2350 crew, 8 neighborhoods, a huge formal dining room, several entertainment venues, and endless spots for relaxation- there is a spot for every type of traveller!
On the top deck alone there are sports courts, rock climbing walls, SIX waterslides, a wave rider, SplashAway Bay for the kiddos, several pools, hots tubs and mini-golf.

Look at this picturesque over-water bungalow at a lovely adults-only couples resort in Jamaica.

The property is 'Sandals Royal Caribbean', in Montego Bay.
It's a beautiful, well reviewed, all-inclusive resort with transfers to and from the airport included.

Couldn't you just see yourself swinging on the balcony of this porch with the sun on your face & feel the warm ocean breeze skipping off the water?
Hold on to that vision, cause it's a cool $38000 for a 1 week stay, air not included.

This might be a good one to file under 'living in my mind, rent free', but it sure is pretty.

Thinking of visiting England at some point?

There are soooooo many cool things to see and do in that part of the world! So much in the way of interesting history, amazing architecture, storied buildings, & beautiful landscapes all on an island surrounded by dramatic ocean waters.
Think Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and Tower Bridge in London, then head east to see quaint towns in The Cotswolds, and Stonehenge. Then head North where you'll find Hadrian's Wall, Edinburgh Castle and Alnwick Castle (which you'll recognize from the Harry Potter Movies).
Speaking of the Harry Potter Movies, you can also visit Warner Brothers London to get eyes on the set for 'The Great Hall'; 'The Forbidden Forest'; and 'Diagon Alley'.

England is one of the most visited places in the word for good reason! There's something to see for every type of traveler!

I'm not sure if anyone has looked at the weather forecast for the week, but it's looking downright chilly. You know where it is less chilly? In the Caribbean. On a big boat.

So, if you're wanting to warm up, might I suggest a Caribbean cruise on the Norwegian Epic?
