"It’s a Way of Life"
Elder Bill Bertschy shares the deep impact of Indigenous ways of life—as powerful paths to healing, grounding, and growth. Through ceremony, prayer, and connection with the spirit world, this way of life shapes us, teaching resilience, forgiveness, and understanding of who we truly are.

In the teachings of the Ojibway and Cree, the lights are said to represent the spirits of the ancestors that are celebrating life.
They are meant to serve as a reminder that we are all part of this shared journey together. The dancing of the lights are believed to form pathways for souls as they travel on to the next world. The phenomenon is also referred to as the “Dance of the Spirits”.
Join us as we take in the incredible, once-in-a-lifetime sights of experiencing these wonder of the world. These excursions are limited to September/October and March/April when sightings are most visible.
