Special Travel International has been in business for 34 years under the ownership of Gery Valtiner. A Big Thank you!
We recently returned from an amazing safari experience with Chris Scheetz in Kenya. 13 guests extended their stay and joined me in Uganda for a Mountain Gorilla Trek. In Uganda we stayed at a community lodge called Ride 4 a Woman. In 2021 I visited this lodge with a different group and we were welcomed back with ladies at the gate singing and chanting as we entered.
Our memories of the people and this unforgettable lodge in the jungle bordering the Congo, will remain forever.

After our first group returned in March of 2021 we organized a fundraiser and raised $40K for the purchase of a new generator. I’m happy to share that the new generator is working at 40% capacity with lots of room for expansion opportunities. (See pics)
This new generator is the lifeline for the future growth and development of the ladies supporting their families in the surrounding communities.

A BIG thank you to everyone who supported our fundraiser and to both groups for joining me on this incredible journey. You truly made a difference for so many people.

Our Friends & Family group had a ton of fun in Mexico. Sunset sailing, coconut shrimp, golf, swim-up bars and lots of laughs.

Tomorrow morning we are off on our next BIG adventure with 840 CFCW’s Dean Thorpe. Morocco here we come… luxury camps in the Sahara as we witness sunrises and sunsets on camelback. Dune buggies, Jeeps, wine tasting, cooking class, a date farm visit and snake charmers. 😳
