Here's the news! Looks like a week postponement! Time to wax the boards, do a few more squats and let the friends know we are riding the MagicBus next Friday for OPENING DAY!

We're targeting a November 22nd opening, and we can't wait to welcome you back!

Following a challenging summer, and a condensed off-season schedule, our crews on the mountain have been working extremely hard towards our opening. Over the coming days as temperatures continue to cool down, snowmaking will resume on the lower slopes, and between our team's snowmaking efforts and natural snowfall in the forecast we are working to have as much terrain open as possible!

With Jasper on everyone’s mind lately, we were happy to see Parks Canada's recent image of Marmot Basin just before the latest snowfall. Despite the Jasper Wildfire Complex nearing dangerously close to the ski area, the mountain was incredibly fortunate to remain untouched! We're thrilled to visit the park on our first day bus to Marmot Basin on December 6. It’s going to be an unforgettable start to what promises to be an amazing winter.
