St.Catherine’s Museum/Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake October 5-6, 2024, A Freedom Museum Fundraiser Tour!

October 5, 2024
We will depart Essex County//Windsor early am with a stop for washroom break at an Onroute and time to grab a cup of coffee for the bus. We will then continue our journey to the Niagara Gateway Information Center for lunch on your own around noon. We will depart the Niagara Information Center and arrive at the St Catherine's Museum at 1:00 pm. Here the group will be split into two and one group will do a guided walk at 1:00 pm while the other group will have time to explore the museum on their own. Once the first tour is done the second group will have the guided walk through the museum and the first group will have their free time. The tour will then depart the St Catherine's Museum at 3:00 pm and travel to the Niagara Best Western Cairn Croft with arrival around 4:00 pm. We will check in and the balance of the evening is free to have dinner at the hotel or use the indoor facilities of the atrium with indoor pool and hot tubs. The restaurant is attached directly to the hotel and is 2 km from the falls. There is public transportation right outside the hotel for a fee that will take you to the falls, Casino, etc. Please check with the front desk for the cost and map that the red line services.

A full buffet breakfast included this morning at the hotel 7:00 am to 8:30 am. We will
depart Best Western Cairn Croft at 9:15 for free time at the falls for you to explore the many attractions and stores for shopping. We will depart the falls 11:15 am for the Maple Leaf Place for a Maple Syrup tasting and included lunch. The tour will then depart the Maple Leaf Place for Niagara on the Lake at 1:00 pm. We will arrive at Niagara on the Lake at 1:30 pm with free time to wander this quaint town's stores and shops until 3:00 pm. We will depart Niagara on the Lake at 3:00 pm for Konzelmann Winery for a 3:30 pm tasting with a small charcuterie board to share. Upon completion of our tasting the tour will depart Konzelmann Winery at 4:30 pm for home. The tour will have a short stop at an Onroute for a washroom break and grab a quick bite to eat on the way home. Arrival in Windsor/Essex County will be approximately 8:30/9:00 pm. Note: Times are subject to change due to weather, traffic, etc.

Tour will include:
Bus transportation, tour at the St Catherine's museum focusing on the black history in that area as well as free time to explore the museum on your won,1 night at the Best Western Cairn Croft (indoor atrium, indoor pool, indoor hot tubs), full breakfast the following morning, transportation to the falls and the Niagara Casino from the front of the hotel for a fee, free time at Niagara Falls in the morning of October 6, Maple Syrup Tasting and lunch at the Maple Leaf Place Niagara Falls, free time in Niagara on the Lake, wine tasting and a snack charcuterie board to share with two people at Konzelmann Winery located in Niagara on the Lake, all taxes and a tour host throughout the tour to assist you along the way. Tipping to the driver and the tour host is at your discretion and not mandatory but greatly appreciated for a job well done.

Cost per person is $399.00 per person double occupancy and $499.00 per person single occupancy. I can price out triple and quad if you want.
A non refundable deposit is due of $150.00 at the time of booking with a non refundable final payment due 45 days prior to departure.

Come travel on a fun day out to first shop at the Kitchener Farmers’ market. Visitors are able to pick up their groceries or meals, including meat, produce, dairy and specialty items. As well on Saturday, the upper level of the Kitchener Market hosts local artisan vendors. Stop by their tables to find something unique and handcrafted.
We will depart the Kitchener Market at 12:00 pm and travel to St Jacob's Market. Arrival should be around 12:30 pm. Here we will have a $20.00 gift certificate included to put towards you lunch from any of the St. Jacobs vendors. You will have the balance of the afternoon to shop at the St Jacobs Market.
