Probably the hardest, dirtiest part was the removal of old , inadequate insulation , and millions of tiny pea sized styrofoam balls. This is one of the upstairs bedrooms, believe it or not, and before we vaulted the ceiling.

From the beautiful home to the welcoming backyard with the wonderful hot tub, fire pit and pizza oven ( yes we used them all lol) we all left feeling it was time well spent and relaxed. This property is beautiful, clean and quiet. Beautifully decorated. We were 4 adults and had plenty of space. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked and what to say about the beautiful patio/garden with a bonus hot tub and pizza oven 😍. Super close to Fredericton as well. Our escape to The Kings Hideaway was met with a kind host who provided absolutely everything necessary for an eventful weekend! We had a blast cooking pizza, relaxing in the hot tub and roasting marshmallows by the fire! Inside gave a very cozy vibe to unwind for the day. All the recommendations come in handy if new to the area, and it is located in a very private area near plenty of things to do. Will definitely stay again in the future as the host and house provided a very comfortable and enjoyable vacation close to home! 10/10 Do recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at King's Hideaway! Beautiful location, and a quaint property. The addition of a second bathroom and family room was a nice surprise for our larger group. Carolyn went above and beyond from check-in details, a list of things to do in the area, to the small little details to make our stay comfortable. We couldn’t have felt more at home!
