We’re always trying to add and improve so our guests have the best experience when they stay. We love telling everyone about the sights and great places to visit nearby, but our goal is to want you to think-“can’t wait to get back to the house”.
Hard to believe, a little less than 4 years ago, we started first without patio blocks, just grass, folding chairs, and a “gifted” firepit.

🌿Fun fact! Most people think this is wallpaper. I wanted wallpaper, but it was close to $500 for just one wall. These are all individual decals, 3 different types, at a fraction of the cost(Walmart find, on clearance). Took a little over a day to finish, just don’t move the couch, I ran out! 🍃🌺🍃

A big shout-out to all who have shared this page, pictures, or just told friends about their stay at The King’s Hideaway. After a slower December, January has all weekends booked,+! Three of those bookings have been from recommendations, and from just sharing my page.
You may not think it’s a big deal to “like” something, but it means the world to Chris and I, and our small business. 🥰.

Carolyn’s place was lovely! We stayed for new years. You can tell Carolyn cares deeply for this property, it was clean and all the details were amazing. The Airbnb was even decorated for the holidays! We made wood fire pizza in the outside oven,had a fire and watched a movie on the projector while we were in the hot tub. The property was dog friendly so we took our dogs on the trail in the morning. I would definitely recommend staying here:) We received exactly what was described in her description of the property.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Well, that contest didn’t take long! Kathryn Hoggarth will receive $50 off her next stay! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
✨Light fixtures! ✨One of the main reasons we vaulted the ceilings upstairs, is so I could hang chandeliers!
The one in the kitchen is designed by me, and a friend wired it up! It covers up the rectangle shape of the former fluorescent light fixture.
👉So when I stay at another Airbnb, it’s bathrooms, bedrooms, and then light fixtures that I check out!

After I “check out” the bathrooms first, I then take a look at all the 🛌! What I look at next will probably be surprise people.😁 The first person who guesses right will receive $50 off their booking! 👉Remember- it’s what I personally check out when I visit another Airbnb.
