An invite has been extended from the Nanaimo Chamber to our community to attend an upcoming All Candidates Meeting at the Nanaimo Golf Club, on Wednesday October 9th. Attendance is free with seating for 125 at the event. Note that this event will host candidates from Gabriola's riding, and also the surrounding ridings. Attendees do not need to pre-register.

The event will begin at 6:30 PM and will feature opening statements from each candidate and a moderated panel discussion. The evening will conclude with closing remarks from each participant.

A reminder to all who share Gabriola's spaces to take responsibility for your waste. This ensures it can be enjoyed by everyone.
An exceptional amount of garbage has being left at Brickyard Beach this summer. Brickyard beach is a pack in, pack out location. Please use the space respectfully and take your garbage with you when you leave.
