EVAS Air Ltd. is looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer M1 or M1/M2 for its Flight Training division in Gander, NL.
The AME is directly responsible to the Director of Maintenance and will possess a valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Category M1. The AME exercises the privileges of the ACA, including providing technical job direction.
JOB DESCRIPTION
· Perform repairs and inspections to the GFT fleet of Cessna and Piper aircraft
· Performing work in accordance with company manuals
· Work with Logistics & Planning to ensure parts, tools and equipment are available for upcoming maintenance events and projects
· Performing required computer entries and functions
· Complying with company policies, procedures, and standards
· Ensuring any issues that could jeopardize production or airworthiness are raised in a timely manner
· Ensuring airworthiness and safety policies, processes and standards are complied with
· Ensuring a safe and tidy workplace
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Possession of a valid M1 or M1/M2 license
· Experience on Cessna and Piper piston powered aircraft is considered an asset
· Proven ability to liaise with other Company personnel and outside agencies
· Must have good understanding of Aircraft Maintenance Programs
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Ability to obtain RAIC and AVOP
