Mufasa: The Lion King is out in theatres today!

Thanks to Disney Canada I was lucky to see the movie earlier this week and it was really good! If you can, go see it in IMAX, that really made the experience.

However, I do recommend this for older kids (8-10+) as there were some scenes that might be scary and/or sad to younger ones.

One of the things I love about Disney are their amazing food offerings. This is not just typical theme park food that you may think of.

Nachos are a great example! You can of course find your regular nacho options with guacamole, cheese or salsa but if you want an explosion of flavour these are some great options and a couple of my personal favourites.

Chip Disney’s Animal Kingdom has Ahi Tuna Nachos from Yak and Yeti Restaurant. This has Sushi grade Ahi tuna, Asian slaw, crispy fried wontons, wasabi aioli with a sweet soy glaze.

Next up is Captain Cook's Pulled Pork Nachos at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. This comes with cheese, spicy mayo, pico de gallo and pineapple salsa.

All aboard Halloween on the High Seas on the Disney Cruise Line, where the magic of Halloween meets the adventure of sailing the open seas. 🚢🎃

During the Halloween season each Disney cruise ship gets a festive makeover, with eerie decorations like pumpkins, cobwebs and the iconic Pumpkin Tree! 🎃

The fun aboard Halloween on the High Seas is non-stop with happenings such as Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party! This is a lively costume party that invites guests of all ages to dress up and dance alongside Disney characters in their Halloween best. Expect plenty of candy and spooky fun during this trick-or-treating extravaganza! 🍬🍫🍭

Throughout the cruise, you’ll encounter Disney characters in their special Halloween costumes. From Mickey and Minnie to Goofy and Donald, everyone is decked out in their spookiest (and cutest) outfits, perfect for photos and making magical memories!

The best way to wrap up a trip if you’re travelling during spooky season is heading to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! 👻

Perfect for all ages, enjoy exclusive shows, characters, food and merchandise. One of my favourite parts is definitely the Boo to You parade. This parade plays twice nightly and if possible wait for the second show because it will be less crowded! This parade features tons of your favourite Disney characters, Disney villains, talented dancers, fun costumes and is led by the headless horseman.

What can set the tone more than decorations, and Disney knows how to decorate! 🍂 🎃

Fall is one of my favourite seasons and entering Magic Kingdom with their decor on display really does feel cozy and like a nice crisp fall day - even if it is hot!

I love grabbing an ice coffee and taking my time strolling along and taking in the vibrant hues. If you love fall or Halloween this is the time of year to visit!
