Three years ago, we were in the midst of construction chaos, working tirelessly to bring our dream to life. From the early morning sunrises to late night work sessions, we were all in it together - family, friends, and team members alike.

Fast forward to today, and we're thrilled to have been able to welcome so many of you through our doors over the past three years! From little ones' birthday parties to family gatherings and cozy date nights, we've been honored to be a part of your special moments.

We're grateful for the support of our amazing communities. Whether you're a regular or just visiting from out of town, we're so glad you're here.

As we celebrate this milestone, we're reminded of the hard work and dedication that goes into Moonlit Canopy. And we're already looking forward to many more years of creating unforgettable experiences for you and your loved ones!

As the seasons change, we're excited to unveil the latest upgrade to our beloved geodesic domes: brand new, sparkling glass windows!

During our spring maintenance, our team worked tirelessly to install these breathtaking glass panels, and the result is nothing short of magical. The natural light pouring in creates an ethereal ambiance, making our domes feel even more enchanting than ever before.

Guests are raving about the new glass windows, and we couldn't agree more! It's a game-changer for our immersive experiences, and we can't wait for you to experience it for yourself.

Located on the edge of Pleasant Valley Golf Course, at the south end of Pelican Lake, our three spacious domes are tucked into the oak tree lined fairways, sporting views of large undulating greens and a winding creek.

Each sleeping up to 4 people comfortably, the dome experience features private decks with a BBQ, patio table, and a soothing hot tub - perfect for unwinding and taking in the stunning views.

The best part about glamping with Moonlit Canopy is all of the luxury amenities that await you.

- Comfortable Accommodations: The most important amenity for our geodesic dome is a comfortable and well-equipped living space. This include a comfortable bed, cozy linens, heating and cooling systems, and proper ventilation.

- Private Bathroom: Our glamping domes come equipped with a private bathroom. This should include a hot water shower, toilet, sink and hot tub.

- Kitchenette: They are equipped with a small kitchenette with basic cooking appliances, a sink, and a mini-fridge for storing food and drinks.

- Wi-Fi: While the goal of geodesic dome glamping is to disconnect and enjoy nature, it can be helpful to have access to.

Meet the Jamiesons!

Here at Moonlit Canopy we like finding out more about our guests, their interests, and backgrounds and often find ourselves being asked questions about who we are, so here is a snippet behind the scenes.

Born and raised in small town Manitoba; Cassandra and Turner have a love for the outdoors, spending summers at the lake or camping with their families, enjoying their vintage car, which is a reminder of simpler times, and traveling to new destinations.

After graduating from college with a diploma in tourism, Cassandra worked for several years at McPhail Travel when in 2016, she eventually purchased the company. In 2020, as an extension of the business, she began to dream of creating a unique outdoor experience that merged the comfort of a hotel with the tranquility of nature.

In 2021, Cassandra and Turner decided to take the plunge and start Moonlit Canopy. Turner being a seasoned jack of all trades; a mechanic, a carpenter and a firefighter to name a few, he is a master at problem solving and repair. His positive attitude and can-do spirit make him a joy to be around.

Together their vision for Moonlit Canopy was to provide a luxurious camping experience that would appeal to a wide range of guests, from families with young children to couples seeking a romantic getaway. They carefully crafted the canopies to ensure that had a unique style and feel, with modern amenities.

When the couple isn't working, they enjoy spending time with their two young children. Whether it's playing games, reading together or going on adventures.

The small wins bring real joy to our lives, the little interactions with our guests, the belly laughs with our team and choosing to focus on the good. We hope to inspire you to chase your dreams, even if it makes you feel uncomfortable for a while.

What an absolutely gorgeous end to August! Our sun filled canopies, little community of Pleasant Valley and Pelican Lake have been filled with gracious, smiling folks out on the golf course, kayaking, fishing, camping and boating.

So great to see everyone getting outside and enjoying the weather, sharing this little piece of paradise with our guests.

This weekend we spent time as a family at the canopies. The kids absolutely love when we take them for an overnight stay, so that they can experience what so many others get to.

We spent our time doing …

* Morning walks
* Ice Cream at the Clubhouse
* Visit with the neighbourhood Dinosaur
* Relaxing in the hot tub
* Outdoor games on the deck
* Boat rides on the lake
* Sleeping in the loft and seeing the stars
* Quality time together without distractions

Simply seeing the joy in the kids eyes during our stay, really made us realize what a special place Moonlit Canopy is.
