🎣 This past June, Greg and his buddies from Pennsylvania came up for a fishing trip and had a blast. The fishing was so good that Greg couldn’t resist coming back in September, this time with his wife Cindy! Not only did they enjoy the serene beauty of our region, but Cindy caught her first pike—an unforgettable moment! 🐟

Shoutout to James and his NJ crew, who come every year! 🎣 They’re keeping a nearly 20-year tradition alive, fishing the same lakes that James, his dad, uncles, and cousins have been coming to for years.

James managed to hook this beauty of a pike in one of the 4 lakes they fished—what a catch! 🐟 Along with the fishing, they also brought along their infamous moonshine (which I’ve had the pleasure—and regret—of tasting the next day 😅).

The camaraderie and brotherhood these guys share is truly something special. Here’s to more memories and traditions being passed down for generations!

We had the pleasure of hosting 4 different groups this week. Gene Greco from Pittsburgh, PA shared these pics with us.
They had another amazing fishing experience at Whitefish Lodge, reeling in bass, pike, amd even catfish. Their catch made for delicious evening at Charlie’s fish fry.
Another perfect fishing getaway, and we are so glad to see these guys back, continuing to make some incredible memories on Lac Heney and surrounding lakes.

When our toddler thinks of something, he exclaims 'Idieaa!' I've just had a thought. Fishing and life have several commonalities. For example, fishing requires patience, as one may spend hours waiting for a significant catch, akin to the dedication and perseverance needed to accomplish personal objectives in life.

Charlie’s son Julian graced us this week with his gf Genevieve and her friends. Take a look at some of these pics. Genevieve’s friends were fishing for the first time. They caught fish, especially pike, with ease because Julian showed them just the right lures to use.

The Ohio crew left early this morning. Another fantastic group of anglers. A special shout out to Charlie, who gave the group a hands on lesson on the most effective way to clean bass. After long days on the lakes they enjoyed delicious meals, making their stay not just successful, but also unforgettable.

This week we are hosting Tim Wilson and crew who have come up all the way up from Ohio, bringing together faith, friendship, and the great outdoors. One of these three gentlemen is a pastor, and they even took time to hold mass service in the Little Anglers Cottage. We love seeing how our guests create memories that go beyond just a fishing a trip. Tight lines and blessings to the fine gentlemen.
