Welcome to Bluewater Cottage Rentals! Vacationing on the shores of Lake Huron is an awesome experience. Ontario's west coast has everything to offer including beaches, dining, shopping, sports, theatre and art galleries. We are excited to tell you about out 2 charming cottages in the Grand Bend area. The cottages are owned by Jane Girodat and Murray Willits and we have been cottage owners in Grand

Bend for over 30 years. We are members of the Chamber of Commerce in Grand Bend. Cottage #1 The Blue Heron is in St Joseph, 3 plus 2 bedroom 3 bath, capacity: 8 . Communal beach access a min walk away. Cottage #2 The Sandpiper is in Grand Bend, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, capacity: 8 adults to a max of 10 with children 2 and under. Main beach in Grand Bend is about a 10 min walk. Both cottages are listed on Cottages in Canada: GL-37049 and GL-37047 and both are licensed Short Term Rentals. The Blue Heron: This is my second time renting The Blue Heron. Last year rented it with friends. This year it was family, a few kids and my parents. What can I say, Jane is an amazing host! Cottage is beautiful, spacious, nice backyard, BBQ, firepit, 2 min walk to playground. The Sandpiper: The cottage was efficient and well laid out, on a quiet street but not too log a walk to the beach, even pulling a wagon loaded with beach gear and kids. Lots of space, and nice to have 2 full bathrooms with one on the main floor next to a bedroom. Not a fancy super cottage, just beachy and cozy. The Blue Heron in St Joseph is available for winter rent from October 1, 2024 to May 1, 2025 for $1300/mo plus utilities. 3 bedroom, 3 bath. Gas heat. It is halfway between Grand Bend and Bayfield. Not long term just 7 months during fall/winter/spring. Furnished, rents weekly in the summer.

Perfect for a short term rental, family cottage or your new home. Beach access in the community, 2 municipal beaches nearby, White Squirrel Golf and Restaurant is across the road. Spacious, 2 living areas, sunroom off the back deck, fire pit and you can see a bit of the lake through the trees. Park for kids in subdivision, White Squirrel Golf nearby and 2 municipal beaches within a min drive, Sararas and St Josph. Masse's Produce is excellent to pick up local produce and baked goods.

The Blue Heron is 10 min north of Grand Bend with a beach access about a min walk, 3 bedroom 3 bath, capacity 8. July 5 and 19, August 2, 9, 16 weeks available, $2195/week plus HST.
Both cottages have dates in May/June/Sept for rent also and this time frame is a 2 night minimum.
No extra cleaning fees, both have lots of parking, central air, back yard fire pit, natural gas BBQ and you can borrow a Pinery Park pass for the day if you wish.
2 of the best bargains in the area and both are licensed as Short Term Rentals.

The Blue Heron in St Joseph. Quiet area, very spacious, a minute walk to lake access. This home has lots of parking, playground a 30 second walk, central air, wifi, natural gas BBQ. Kitchen stocked to cook and eat, little fresh produce stand nearby. It is about 10 in north of Grand Bend and 10 min south of Bayfield

Sararass Beach, just north of Grand Bend, On

This is Sararass Beach, I am new to posting videos, made a mistake on the last beach video (it is Bayview Subdivision). Sararass is in Saint Joseph about 8 min north of Grand Bend, parking at the top of the hill. This beach is about a min drive from cottage #100, about 15 sec from #87, about 30 sec drive from #1. These are cottages on my website. Sararass Beach is in transition, I believe they are putting in a boat launch, at the bottom of the hill to the right, take the stairs to the left to get to this little beach. Water level is high on Lake Huron, this beach still has some sand and look at that blue water!!

Ontario's west coast has everything to offer including beaches, dining, shopping, sports, theater and art galleries. I am your host Jane Girodat. My husband Murray Willits and I have been cottage owners in Grand Bend for over 30 years. The 2 cottages on this website are owned by Murray and I. We are members of the Chamber of Commerce in Grand Bend. The top of my website has a link to the Chamber and is a great reference for events, activities, things to do etc. I also have a facebook link at the top of the page and I try to update weekly spring and summer.

The Sandpiper is in the village of Grand Bend with lots of parking and an outdoor fire pit, about a 3 min walk to the main lights in Grand Bend, more private than the cottages off the shopping strip.

The Blue Heron is north of Grand Bend in the village of St Joseph, across the highway from The White Squirrel Golf Club. Children’s playground is around the corner and water access is about a min walk. It is a communal access in this subdivision. I cannot guarantee water access for 2020, water levels high in the Great Lakes.

Murray and I now live in the village of Grand Bend and we are here all summer to troubleshoot. Garbage is picked up weekly by Murray. You will find both cottages very clean, all appliances will be in good repair and they are decorated in a beach style that I hope you love.
