Reminder: The Grand Valley Lions Polar Bear Dip is still on, Saturday, January 4. Registration starts at 12 with the dip at 1. Cost to dip is $20 and pledge/ waiver sheets will be available at the dip or contact Lion Randy at [email protected]. Add proceeds go to the Grand Valley Food Bank. Spectators are requested to bring a donation to the Food Bank, See you at the Dip.

Grand Valley Lions Polar Bear Dip

Postponed until January 4th due to high water. It is that time of the year when we start to think about the Grand Valley Lions Polar Bear Dip on January 1st. Registration starts at 12 noon with the dip at 1 pm sharp. All proceeds go to the Grand Valley Food Bank so start getting your pledge sheets (copy attached) filled up. Cost to dip is a minimum of $20 in pledges.

Spectators are encouraged to bring a donation to the food bank as well. Let’s break last year’s record of $5700 with one pledge at a time.

Grand Valley Lions club members Lori and Randy with Lion to be Rob presented a cheque to Verena Tupling of Dufferin Shares (grand Valley Food Bank) in the amount of $1337.74 at the Grand Valley Fall fair on September 21. These funds were raised at the July 1 Car Show's 50-50 draw plus some donated winning from the 2024 Duck race.

Congratulations to Joan of Brampton who purchased a 50-50 Fundraiser at the Grand Valley Lions Canada day 50-50 draw. Joan won $1175. The proceeds go to the Grand Valley Food Bank. Thank you to all who attended this great car show and all the people who bought a 50-50 ticket. Happy Canada Day.
