After exploring every possibility, we are saddened to announce that The William Ramsey tour boat will not be sailing this summer due to the closure of the boardwalk and dock at Science North. Thank you for understanding. Have a fun summer and we hope to see you out on the lake next year. ⚓

🚧 Important update: Science North's Floating Dock 🚧

Hey everyone! We've got some news about the beloved floating dock that connects us to the Jim Gordon Boardwalk. After more than thirty years of service, it's time for a change!

We fixed some flotation issues back in 2019, but a recent engineering assessment showed that our dock has reached the end of its serviceable life. So, to keep everyone safe, we've temporarily closed off access and powered it down.

But don't worry! We have an alternate walking route to the main boardwalk, so you can still enjoy your stroll. Sadly, this means the William Ramsey Boat Cruise won't be docking here for now. We're exploring potential solutions and will keep you posted.

What's Next?
- Detailed plans for a new dock are underway.
- The existing dock will be removed to make way for a new structure.
- We are aiming for a grand opening by spring 2025!

Traffic Note! Just a heads-up for south end motorists that we'll be moving the boat Thursday morning (June 1st) between approximately 10:00 - 10:30 from Long Lake Road at the bypass and along Paris Street, then turning onto Ramsey Lake Road to the boat launch. See you on the lake! 🙂 ⚓️

The ice is out and the water level is up!
