Summer is just around the corner! We look forward to hosting guests at Mossrock Retreat for our third summer season.

When we first bought the property back in 2017 our lot was covered with trees. We saved the cleared lumber for firewood and even made our dining table out of a log that was removed during that process.

We love being surrounded by the forest and wanted to support areas in the world that needed the most help with deforestation.

Thank you to all our wonderful guests! We've now planted over 1200 trees together.

In 1986 my father decided to build a tree fort as a playhouse for my brother and me. It was built with four telephone poles, had a second floor loft that had a sleeping area, it was equipped with electricity, and the lower staircase could be raised up to keep the adults out. We absolutely loved "The Tower", and it sometimes reminds me of our elevated sunroom at Mossrock Retreat.

Now we have the opportunity through Airbnb to stay at so many unique places around the world. Whenever I come across a treehouse where you can spend the night I feel nostalgic about my childhood.

Through Airbnb we've hosted families, friends, colleagues and quite a few international travellers that all wanted to experience the beauty of Haliburton. It's been a pleasure sharing our property with so many wonderful guests.

A custom build masterpiece that offers 3-King bedrooms with private ensuite plus additional sleeping quarters.

We cater to different group sizes with a maximum guest count of 10 and price accordingly. Our summer stays are weekly rentals with a Saturday to Saturday booking structure.
