And that’s a wrap for 2023!

Docks and boat out and away and cottage is closed for the winter. A big thank you to all our fantastic renters this year! You were all so great and respectful of the both the cottage and the lake. It was a pleasure being able to host each and every one of you!

Inquiries are already starting to come in for 2024 so book soon so you don’t miss out!

As a reminder, we reopen the cottage on May 1 and rent until Oct. 31 each year. We have some special, off season rates as well - feel free to inquire directly to [email protected].

In need of a quiet space to work? Check out some recent updates to Bearfoot’s Bunkie. This separate building on the property is truly a ‘sleeper’. Full of surprises. It’s a stand alone building with sleeping for 5 if needed or keep it quiet and use as a space to work or just to hang out. Add in Starlink internet and you are all set.

We often get asked about the swimming. Our lake is clear and clean and the cottage waterfront is weedfree. Not only can you swim off the dock, but there is a sandy, shallow entrance beach less than a 10 min. walk away. The beauty of both worlds!

Just a note and a thank you from Bearfoot Lakehouse for an amazing first year. Everyone has been so supportive and our guests have been so complimentary. This has been a labour of love and we are glad you have embraced that feeling.

Mountain Biking is still open for the season at Sir Sam's! We welcome you to use our honour box before riding the trails. Please note that the chair lift won't be running again until September 23rd. Be safe & have fun!

GREAT NEWS and ITS NOW OFFICIAL!!!!!!....Fort Irwin Marina on Haliburton Lake will remain open ALL year round. The LCBO/Beer Store will remain open with with the general convenience store offerings along with PREMIUM, REGULAR and DIESEL fuel. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements from the Fort Irwin Marina team and additional offerings to get us through the beautiful winter months together!
