Summer is the perfect time to unplug from technology and reconnect with your family in the great outdoors.

Join FD Wildfoods on one of our family ecoadventures and immerse yourselves in the beauty of the natural world, identify and collect edible wild foods and create lasting memories together.

Our guides will lead you through enchanting forests, flower filled meadows, meandering streams and our bountiful shoreline. Learn about the diverse flora and fauna that inhabit these environments.

Discover the secrets of foraging as you gather wild greens, berries, edible mushrooms and fragrant herbs. Our knowledgeable guides will ensure a safe and educational experience for the whole family.

Upcoming Family Ecoadventure dates:

July 2 – St. Margaret's Bay 9:30 am – 12:30 pm
July 16 – Lawrencetown Provincial Park 9:30 am – 12:30 pm

Adults - $50 per person
Children (up to age 18) - $25 per person

Are you interested in learning how to find and identify edible wild foods available right here in the Halifax area?

Join one of our upcoming ecotours and learn about edible seaside plants, field and forest plants, berries, flowers, seaweeds, spices, lichens and more.

We offer small group tours of no more than 6-8 participants to allow for detailed conversations and participants to ask questions.
