This is my grandma’s brother, Flight Lieutenant, Wallace Hilton Brown, he served with the Royal Canadian Air Force & was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his unfailing bravery during WW2. Uncle Wallace had already served his time & was free to return to Canada, but insisted on staying & fighting until the end. His end came while he & his crew were patrolling the Bay of Biscay, France, the night before D-Day when their plane failed to returned. “Missing after air operation Jun 6, 1944”- We are proud & thankful Canadians 🇨🇦 🙏Thanks Uncle Wallace for ultimate sacrifice & your part in our freedom. My sister & her Husbsnd were lucky enough this year to go to Runnymede Memorial in London, England where uncle Wallace & 250,000 war hero’s are commemorated.
