Let’s take a look at St. Kitts & Nevis🐒

This two-island nation is known for its warm and welcoming vibe. St. Kitts and Nevis boast epic, picturesque beaches with clear warm waters, majestic mountains, lush rainforests and a rich history. Let’s not forget the island’s heartwarming hospitality and delectable cuisine — both are commonly noted.

They take the art of enjoying life seriously here — calling it limin’. The St. Kitts Travel Guide explains that “to lime is to feel the sun’s warmth as it bounces off your skin, and the tug of waves as you dive into the water for a midday swim. It’s as simple as a hammock tucked between two palms, or an evening spent bouncing between bars with a new friend.”

St. Kitts has a dormant (Mount Liamuiga) volcano, is home of the green vervet monkeys and its rainforest is crisscrossed with excellent hiking trails. Zip-lining, ATV-ing… grand adventures await in St. Kitts!

Weather is delightful year round. June is the hottest month with an average temperature of 28°C, the coldest month is February at 24°C. The wettest month is October. The best month to swim in the sea is September — when the average sea temperature is a lovely 29°C.

Small in both size and population, St. Kitts and Nevis has a lot to offer. If it’s not on your must-go list, it should be!

Looking for a dream beach destination in your own backyard? I found a gem! 💎 Colindale Beach Villas are in beautiful Port Hood (the beach capital of Cape Breton) Nova Scotia, boasting a gorgeous, very large property (50 plus acres) that includes a stunning secluded beach in lovely Sutherlands Cove. The property itself is off the beaton path offering guests true tranquillity. Pathways around the property are well marked and well maintained. New, modern and beautifully designed tiny homes sit perfectly throughout the property. I stayed in number 92. Inside, the villa offered a comfortable stay with a lovely bachelor style layout. Everything is brand new and villas are very well appointed. And so clean! The kitchen has all you need. Small table for two and couch with wheeled coffee table all fit together so nicely. Bathroom boasts nice, new amenities. The backside of windows, large sliding glass door and back deck provide brilliant views. Sitting watching the sun set in the pretty turquoise adirondack chairs was a treat. The bed in this villa was a Queen. It’s always so lovely to sleep on a new bed with fresh sheets after a long day! As far as the beach goes… it’s large and unspoiled. Sand is golden and smooth. On a warmer, sunnier day I could see it being a beach lovers bliss. I’ll definitely be back to experience summer at Colindale Beach Villas! Here’s the link to their website: https://www.colindalebeachvillas.ca/ All in all, this was a five star stay.
