Spent sometime getting this General 160 lathe cleaned up to sell as we have purchase a General 260. Jude got on it to try it all out in its restored condition. He loves making stuff in the shop.

Disassembled these handrails completely. Cleaned up these old miters, reassembled and just dialing them in so they look as perfect as possible.

Really like this keyhole stain glasses window detail. There are 2 more rosettes to be made to go on the bottom of the casing as well. Stay tuned for that.

These railings were installed in 1912. I wonder if anything we/I make today will be restored and hold such character?

RO90 making short work of all this detail sanding. All the beading has to be sanded and scraped to clean it up. A parting chisel has been really handy for cleaning up the fine details.

This back split received new custom made millwork including custom fireplace surround, built in book case with window seat as well as custom wainscot panel. We also installed new casing, baseboard, crown moulding as well as install ceramic tile and build hardwood stairs for this home.
