BC BIRD TRAIL. Rain or shine, the eagles don’t mind - they are out in huge numbers right now! The wintering bald eagles can be seen throughout the Harrison River Valley, but the capital is Harrison Mills. As part of the BC Bird Trail, and designated as an Important Bird Area, this region is rife with bird watching opportunities and now is a great time to capture that photo of a lifetime!

Take a walk through the forested trails to the eagle-viewing gazebo at Sandpiper Resort, enjoy a walk along the shores flanking Kilby Historic Site, or book a tour with Harrison Eco Tours or Shoreline Tours.
