Established in 2010, we are an incorporated not-for-profit organization ensuring the responsibility for preserving and showcasing our past history for future generations to enjoy. Mission Statement:
The Harriston Historical Society, is a private group of caring & dedicated people, whose primary functions are to collect, preserve, conserve, interpret, and exhibit materials of historical

interests relating to the town of Harriston and Minto. Along with preserving local history, we will provide educational opportunities for the community to understand and experience the towns past through ongoing exhibits and displays. Meetings:

On July 13th, in conjunction with the , we will be officially honouring the following:

🎀10AM: New Community Pantry in Clifford Rotary Celebration Square. This intiative is a collaboration between , , and Minto's DEI Community to help with food insecurity in our area.

🎀10:30AM: Brown Cemetery will be officially honoured as a historically significant with a new bench & plaque.
