Please be advised that a BC Emergency Alert has been issued for our area. Flood warnings and watches are active along the Chilcotin and Fraser Rivers due to an increased potential for sudden flooding and debris flows. 🌊 This was caused by a landslide that happened upstream on the Chilcotin River. For those planning to visit the Fraser Canyon, please consider this advisory and plan your travel accordingly.

Important Instructions:

River Evacuation: All individuals and boaters are urged to vacate the water and along the banks of the Fraser River immediately.
Avoid River Banks: The riverbanks may be unstable and extremely dangerous. Please stay clear of these areas.
Emergency Assistance: If you need help evacuating, dial 9-1-1 immediately.
